'No. 196. 3 : Copy of letter to the Editor, West Hawaii Today, from
Earl Younker, dated November 16, 1977 , informing he feels
the Public Works Department is leaning in the right direction
in the traffic revision at the intersection of Kona Coast
Shopping Center, First Hawaiian Bank, post office, etc. , but
fails to see why the patrons of the bank and post office
who desire to go to the shopping center are not permitted
to turn left into the shopping center at the proposed new
median cut at Pioneer Federal which may well create a more
confused and congested situation that now exists.
605.1 : Copy of letter to Henry A. O 'Neal from traffic Engineer
Richard Mitsumori dated December 15 , 1977 informing the
proposed plan is an interim one within the present County

proposal will provide temporary relief to the present
