Matayoshi dated November 29 , 1977 informing that the Department of Hawaiian HomesLands, pursuant to Section 220 of the Hawaiian Homes Commission Act of 1920, has requested the County of Hawaii to acdept for maintenance purposes the roadway improvements in Unit . II of the Panaewa residence lots in Hilo located on the makai side of the intersection of Kanoelehua Avenue and Puainako Street. Yamashiro dated March 3, 1978, requesting PWC to review the correspondence from Parcourse, Ltd. and take appropriate action for the institution of this outdoor fitness activity along the Bayfront area. Informs the Legislature has set aside the sum of $40, 000 for the construction of a jogging course along said area and believes Parcourse would fit into this concept. Refer to administration to implement Parcourse in concept with the funds appropriated by the Legislature for plans and construction of a jogging course at the Bayfront area in Hilo. (Act 9 , Special Session of 1977) Request the administration to provide the Council with a list of the appropriations the County is seeking together with a priority listing for these appropriations and no County funds shall be expended until the Council has received the priority list.
