Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Comm. 852 : AMENDMENT TO TRAFFIC CODE - PARKING
RESTRICTIONS ON KUKUAU STREET
From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated
June 23, 1978 recommending amendment to
the traffic code to change parking
restrictions on Kukuau Street as follows:
1. Establish a no-parking zone on the
Hamakua side between Kinoole Street and
Kapiolani Street, where shoulders are
narrow.
2. Rescind Item No. 39 in Schedule 12, under
South Hilo, referring to the no-parking
zone on the Hamakua side for the Hilo
Commercial College.
recommends approval of the request to change the parking
restrictions on Kukuau Street and that the proper amendment
to the Traffic Code be prepared by the Office of the Corporation
Counsel.
