Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Comm. 792: UNIFORM BUILDING CODE - 1976 EDITION
(Bill 394) From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated
May 1, 1978, submitting for adoption, a
bill for an ordinance relative to the
1976 edition of the Uniform Building Code,
as amended and informs of significant
revisions to the Code.
recommends that the Council receive and file the communication and
approve and adopt the 1976 edition of the Uniform Building Code,
as amended, (Bill 394) on first reading.
Further recommends that the Bill be referred back to Public Works
Committee after first reading for purposes of holding public hearings.
