Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Comm. 876: SUMMER ART FESTIVAL - CLOSE LOWER SECTION OF
VOLCANO ROAD
From Beverly Jackson, requesting that the lower
section of the Old Volcano Road, from Shipman
Street to the intersection with Highway 130, be
closed on August 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
during the 2nd Annual Summer Art Festival.
recommends that the Council approve the request of Beverly Jackson
to close the lower section of the Old Volcano Road from Shipman Street
to the intersection with Highway 130 on August 13 from 10 a.m. to
5 p.m. for the 2nd Annual =Summer Art Festival, provided that the
conditions required by the Police Department, Fire Department,
Hilo Hospital and Public Works Department are complied with.
