Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Comm. 877: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT - 4-WAY STOP CONTROL
AT KEAWE-WAILUKU DRIVE INTERSECTION
From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated July 14, 1978,
requesting 4-way stop control be authorized for
the intersection of Keawe Street and Wailuku Drive
as an effective means of reducing vehicle conflicts
caused by limited stopping sight distance.
recommends that the Council approve the request of Chief Engineer
Edward Harada to establish a 4-way stop control at the intersection
of- Keawe Street and Wailuku Drive and that the office of the
Corporation Counsel prepare the proper amendment to the Traffic Code.
