From Councilman James L. K. Dahlberg, dated
August 14 ,. 1978, transmitting letter from
Tita Beamer Solomon requesting the closing of
Alii Drive from Hulihe'e Palace and to King
Kamehameha Hotel luau grounds for the. Bicentennial
Court Procession and the Aloha Week Court on
September 22 ,. 1978 at 3 : 00 p.m;
recommends that the Council approve the request. of Tita Beamer Solomon,
Manager., Aloha Week Festival oval 1978 , to close Alii Drive
from Hulihe'e
Palace to King Kamehameha Hotel luau grounds for the Bicentennial Court
Procession and the Aloha Week Court on September 2 , 1978. at 3 :00 p.m. ,
provided that the conditions required by the Police Department, Fire
Department, Kona_. Hospital and Public Works Department are complied with.
