NO PARKING - BUS STOP ZONE ON ALII DRIVE
From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated October 13,
1978 requesting amendment to Chapter 6, (Traffic
Code) , Article 16, Section 4 , Schedule 15,
Hawaii County Code, to authorize a "No Parking -
Bus Stop" zone on Alii Drive across from World' s
Square in Kailua Village. Informs an "off-the
thru lane" area has been constructed to provide
for bus loading and unloading activities.
963. 1: From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated November
2 , 1978, requesting that the last paragraph of
his October 13 letter be revised as stated;
recommends approval of the request to establish. a "No Parking-Bus
Stop" zone on Alii Drive, makai side, in Kailua-Kona, in the "off-the-
through lane" paved area south of Hulihee Palace, only for the purpose
of and while engaged in loading or unloading passengers, and that the
proper amendment to the Traffic Code be prepared by the Corporation
Counsel.
