Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Comm. 1000 : ABANDONMENT RESOLUTION AND QUITCLAIM DEED
(Res. 348) FOR A PORTION OF THE OLD VOLCANO ROAD BETWEEN
TAX MAP KEY: 1-7-19-25 IN KURTISTOWN, PUNA
From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated
December 4 , 1978 transmitting the quitclaim
deed and an abandonment resolution for the
subject road which is no longer needed for
public purpose. Informs the documents have
been reviewed and approved by the Corporation
Counsel ' s office and are submitted for
, consideration, approval and authorization for
execution of the deed by the Mayor;
recommends the communication be placed on file; and approve
•
and adopt Resolution 348 to abandon the road remnant which has
been created by the construction of the New Volcano Highway in
Kurtistown, Puna.
Further recommends authorization be granted to the Mayor to
execute the quitclaim deed for said road remnant.
