Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Comm. 1037 : KAPIOLANI STREET EXTENSION
From Reverend Kenneth M. Wyneken, Pastor,
Christ Lutheran Church, dated January 19 , 1979 ,
pointing out that according to the master plan,
Kapiolani Street is to be extended from near
the corner of Mohouli Street to Lanikaula
Street to provide a throughstreet from Kawili
to Waianuenue, and asks the County to expedite
the completion of the street as soon as possible.
This street will provide another access to UHH
Campus and to Waiakea High School; open up
State land mauka of their church which could be
used for more homes; also, his church and other
organizations on Kapiolani Street would benefit
from the increased traffic flow and ease of
access.

March. 2 , 1979, responding to C-1(137;
recommends the communications be placed on file; and a copy of
C-1037 . 1 be transmitted to Reverend Kenneth M. Wyneken for his
information.
