Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Comm. 1158 : "LIMITED PARKING. RESTRICTION" WAIPIO VALLEY
LOOKOUT
From Councilman Takashi Domingo, dated May 16 , 1979 ,
informing as there has been a significant rise in
the number of complaints, regarding persons parking
their cars for days at the Waipio Valley lookout,
visitors and island residents are denied the parking
spaces and tour bus drivers are experiencing
difficulty in turning their buses; therefore ,
requests as soon as possible a "Limited Parking
Restriction" , enforceable 24 hours a day;
recommends approval of the request to establish a 24-hour "limited
parking restriction" at the Waipio Valley Lookout, and that the
proper amendment to the. Traffic Code be prepared by the Corporation
Counsel.
