Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Comm.. 1.090 : DEDICATION DEED FOR KONA SCENIC SUBDIVISION
PARK .SITE
From Mayor Herbert T. Matayoshi dated March 15 ,
1979, submitting for review and acceptance,tance, a
dedication deed for the five-acre park site
situated within the Kona Scenic Subdivision,.
Halekii, South Kona. Informs their preliminary
financial impact study indicates the following
requirements.: (1) $10, 000 to remove the
existing vegetation and to grass the area; (2)
Approximately $8,000 per year for the next
five-year period for operational and maintenance
costs; and (3) approximately $200 ,000 for
further development, consisting of outdoor
courts, baseball backstop and fencing, restroom
facilities, parking, irrigation system, etc;
recommends Council accept the dedication deed for the five-acre park
site situated within the Kona Scenic Subdivision, Halekii, South Kona.
