Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
4u Comm. 1220 : RUBBISH CONTAINERS - KAMEHAMEHA AVENUE
From Tony Taniguchi, President, Hilo Downtown
Improvement Association, dated July 17 , 1979
requesting rubbish containers be provided on
Kamehameha Avenue so that trash will not
litter the newly landscaped area;
recommends Council refer the communication to administration and
request that rubbish containers be placed in appropriate locations
on Kamehameha Avenue and transmit for consideration, a copy of
Mrs. Dorothea Carvalho' s statement made before the Committee regarding
the subject matter.
