/5.2s, Comm. 1305: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
"NO 'PARKING ZONE - KALANIANAOLE STREET
From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated
September 19, 1979 requesting amendment to
Chapter 6 (Traffic Code) Article 15, Section
8B, Schedule 12, South Hilo, authorizing a
"No Parking" zone on the northwest side of
Kalanianaole Street between the Fisherman' s
Cove and Banyan Way to keep vehicles out of
pedestrian walkway;
recommends Council- approve the" request to establish a "No Parking" zone
on Kalanianaole Street, beginning at Fisherman 's Cove and extending 183
feet in the southwesterly direction until the first parking stall on
Banyan Way; and that the proper amendment to the Traffic Code be prepared
by the Corporation Counsel.
