"NO PARKING-" 'ZONE - "KAP'IOLANI' 'STREET
From Chief, Engineer Edward Harada dated
September 19,, 1979 requesting amendment to
Chapter 6, (:Traffic Code). , Article 15, Section 8B,
. Sc-hedule 12, South Hilo, authorizing a
"No Parking" zone on Kapiolani Street between
Kawili Street and Lanikaula Street due to the
narrow shoulders which are inadequate to
accommodate a parked vehicle;
recommends Council approve the request to establish a "No Parking" zone
on Kapiolani Street,. Southwest side, between Kawili Street and Lanikaula
Street, and on the Northeast side, beginning at Kawili Street and extending
1, 130 feet in the northwesterly direction; and that the proper amendment to
the Traffic Code be prepared by the Corporation Counsel.
