Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Peet. 19 : TRANSPORTATION SERVICE. FOR THE NORTH KOHALA-MAUNA
KEA BEACH MOTEL ROUTE
From Councilman Muneo Sameshima dated September 6,
1979, submitting a petition requesting an expanded/
improved bus service for the North Kohala-Mauna Kea
Beach Hotel route. The petitioners ' arguments that
they are justifying the existence of the County bus
program and also contributing towards the saving
of gasoline should be deserving of favorable
disposition of the request;
, �. 19. 1: From Deputy Managing Director Barney B. Menor
dated September 26, 1979 informing the County
Transit Agency is proceeding expeditiously with
modification of its contract with Ryusaki Corporation
for a larger capacity bus for - the Kohala-Mauna Kea
Beach Hotelroute;
recommends the petitions be placed on file; and that a copy of Petition 19 . 1
be transmitted to the petitioners.
