Comm. 1450 : AMENDMENT TO 'ORDINANCE NO. 38 OUTDOOR LIGHTING
From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated January 16 , 1980,
requesting amendment to Section 2 . 01 of Ordinance 38
to allow the use of low pressure sodium lighting without
external shielding.. Informs the University of Hawaii
Institute for Astronomy and the National Science
Foundation both concur with this proposal;
recommends Council approve the request; andthat the proper amendment to
Section 2. 01 of Ordinance 38 be prepared by the Corporation Counsel .
