Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Pet. 21: FLOODING PROBLEM LAULA ROAD
From Pieper J. Toyama, President, Laula Road Community
Association, dated November 21, 1979 requesting immediate
attention to correct the flooding problem caused by runoff
from the pasture between Laula Road and Akea Street emptying
directly onto their properties. Informs the culverts are
not properly installed and are not big enough to carry the
volume of water which flows through the area.

submitting report of the Laula Road Flooding problem,
Waiakea, South Hilo, TMK: : 3rd Division 2-4-51;
recommends the petitions be placed on file; and concur with the administration's
proposals 1 and 2 to alleviate the flooding problem on Laula road.
