(_Res. 690) From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae
dated August 28 , 1980 informing Davies Hamakua
Sugar Company is expanding its factory operations
at Ookala Mill and wants to acquire County and
State lands adjacent to it. Since the County
does not have any plans for use of this property
(adjacent to the former Ookala School) , submits
a. resolution authorizing the issuance of a temporary
• use permit to' Davies to allow immediate use of the
property upon terms and conditions to be determined
by the -Director of Finance;,
recommends Council approveand adopt Resolution 690 authorizing the
Director of Finance to issue a. month-to-month permit to Davies Hama,k.ua
Sugar Company expiring on June 30, 1981. for th.e temporary use of th.e -
property situated at Ookala (TMK: 3-9--01;26) for expansion of its factory
operations with the terms and conditions to be determined by the
Director of Finance.
