Comm. 1679: BIG ISLAND CYCLING CLUB - BICYCLING RACES
From M. E. Root, President, Big Island Cycling Club,
dated September 16, 1980, requesting approval to
alter the trafficpattern around Lil iuoka lani
Gardens (map attached) between the hours of 8 :30 a.m.
to 12 : 00 noon, Sunday, November 30, 1980 for a
series of bicycling races. Informs they will have
special marshalls along the course and the necessary
barricades and road cones will be placed for traffic
control;
recommends Council approve the request of the Big Island Cycling Club
to alter the traffic pattern around lE,i li.uokalan'i Gardens from 8 : 30 a.m.
to 12:oo noon, Sunday, November 30, 1980 , for a. series of bicycling
races, provided that the conditions required by the Police Department,
Fire Department, Hilo Hospital and Public Works Department are
complied with.
