Your Committee on Economic Development to which was referred:
Res. 41: "HAWAII ' 82" PROMOTION (C-50/EDC-1)
Requesting the Department of Research and Development to set
aside whatever funds that are necessary to participate
effectively in the "Hawaii ' 82" promotion;
recommends Paragraph 6 of Resolution 41 be amended Eo read:
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such funds be allocated from the
existing tourism promotional funds, G-1719, Tourism Promotion, within
the Department of Research and Development [ , and shall not exceed the
unencumbered balance of $131, 235. 35] .
Further recommends Resolution 41, as amended, be adopted by the Council.
