Your Committee on Economic Development recommends the following:
Rec . 2 : SUBCOMMITTEE ON TOURISM REPORT
arc Recommends Council accept the Report of the Subcommittee
on Tourism regarding -Communications 222 and 222 .2 and
request the Legislative Assistant to follow up on the
recommendations contained in the report.
Further recommends that Item No. 6 under. the Visitor
Industry Group Report be amended by adding the
following: "The EDC Chairman and Vice Chairwoman be
authorize to negotiate a 3-month contract with
Mrs. DorothyThompson to coordinate the hula activities
for a sum not to exceed $4 , 000 . "
