From Counci woman Helene H. Hale dated January 19 , 1982 ,
transm.ittincf copy of a letter to the Director of the
State Department of Planning & Economic Development
from Sets, Inc . regarding their solar salt pond energy
conversion project for Keahole Point and requests that
the Department of Research & Development work closely
with Mr. McCord to try to implement this project;
recommends the communication be placed on file; and request the Research &
Development Department to keep the Council informed of the progress of the
project and recommend the Legislative Committee consider support of the
State Department of Planning & Economic Development' s request for funds
from the State Legislature.
