Your Committee on Economic Development to which was referred:
//Res. 501: . ESTABLISHMENT/ OF A JAPAN-HAWAII TECHNOLOGY CENTER
AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII
Supports the establishment of a Japan-Hawaii Society
at the University of Hawaii and recommends that the
Center be placed at the University of Hawaii at Hilo
since the research and development in OTEC, deep sea
mining and aquaculture might be done on the island of
Hawaii;
(Intr. by: Mr. Dahlberg)
recommends Resolution 501 be adopted by the Council.
