4. Comm. 1129 : FUNDS FOR THE QUEEN ELIZABETH 2 WELCOME CEREMONY
From Councilwoman Helene H. Hale, dated
February 16, 1.983, transmitting Alan J. Pratt' s
letter dated. Februar-y 10, 1983, requesting funds
to cover the cost of the planned grand welcome
for the Queen Elizabeth 2 and its passengers
to arrive in Kona on Tuesday, March 29 , from
8 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m;
recommends Council participate on an equal basis with the
administration in the cost of the planned grand welcome for the
Queen Elizabeth 2 on March 29 and that the total cost shall not
exceed $500.
