Mr. Boyd is the current Center Director for the West Hawai'i Small Business Development Center and the former Director of Finance &Administration for Full Life, a non-profit agency dedicated to helping people with developmental disabilities. Mr. Boyd has over 30 years experience in the areas of business development and human resources management. Mr. Boyd holds a BA degree from Northeastern University in Boston, a MA in Cultural Anthropology and Masters in Public Administration (MPA) degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Colorado. Mr. Boyd is an active member of the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce where he serves in its Economic Development Committee. He has been a resident of Hawai'i for the past 13 years. Mr. Boyd states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a term ending December 31, 2019.
