Aloha Council Members,
My name is Charles Haines and I am a resident of the beautiful city of Hilo. I am aware that each of you will be
voting on Bill 13 to ban the use of styrofoam containers. As an active member of the community here and as a
passionate advocate of the health of our Earth, I must offer my strong desire for each of you to consider voting
YES for Bill 13 against the use of styrofoam. We are all well aware of the damaging effects of synthetic
materials on our environment and the animals that call it home. Please, for the sake of this island and the
people, animals, and plants that live here, do what's right.
Please vote YES for Bill 13!!!
