Aloha members of the council,
I support the initiative proposed by Councilwoman O'Hara to reduce the amount of polystyrene foam food
containers & food service ware on Hawai'i Island starting on July 1st, 2018.
Although I am not from Hawaii, I believe styrofoam should no longer be used in the fashion it-is, or at
all. Hawaii County could be a leader in a nationwide movement. If this bill is approved, maybe I can use it as
an example to help make changes here in Texas.
