SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 228-17, Draft 2; A Resolution Approving the
Establishment of a Sister-City Relationship Between the Municipality of
Cabugao, Province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines and the County of Hawai`i, and
Authorizing the Mayor of the County of Hawai`i to Enter Into a Formal
Signed Agreement.
Please find attached Resolution No. 228, Draft 2. Resolution No. 228 was amended by the
contents of Communication No. 326.1 and duly approved by the Council during its
June 22, 2017 Governmental Relations and Economic Development Committee meeting.
