Comm. 96: WEST HAWAII HUMANE SOCIETY AND DOG CONTROL
ENFORCEMENT (MOTION 5)
From Committee on Public Works Chairwoman
Merle K. Lai, dated February 4, 1981, submitting
a report on the meeting held with representatives
from the West Hawaii Humane Society, Hawaii Island
Humane Society, Police Department, Corporation
Counsel and the Public Works Committee regarding
the subject matter. Should the PWC find the report
in order, she will request the Corporation Counsel
to prepare amendatory language to the Animal Control
code;
recommends Council accept the report and that the Public Works Committee
Chairwoman be requested to work with the Corportation Counsel to prepare
the proper amendments to the Animal Control Code
