SECTION '10 - OBSTRUCTIONOF 'INTERSECTION
From Corporation Counsel Stephen J. Menezes , dated
February 20, 1981, requesting amendment to Chapter
6 , Hawaii County Code, Article 11, Section 10 ,
to exclude the obligations required of',the Police
Department and Department of Public Works with
regard for maintaining street intersections free
of obstructions to view; also requests a review
of the thirty-foot . setback in light of its
inconsistency with the minimum building setback
requirements of the Zoning Code;
recommends Council approve the request of the Corporation Counsel ta
amend Chapter- 6, Hawaii County Code, Article 11, Section 10; and that
the proper amendment be prepared by their office.
Note: (PWC Chair to work with Corportion Counselin the review of
the thirty-foot setback. )
