Comm. 359: AMENDMENT TO TRAFFIC CODE
DELETION OF CROSSWALK
MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY-KONA
From Chief Engineer Edward. Harada, dated
June 15, 1981, requesting that `Item 2" of
Chapter 6 , Article 12 , Section la, Schedule 7 ,
(Kona) be deleted to remove thecrosswalk located
on Mamalahoa Highway about two-tenths of a mile
South of Sandy' s Drive Inn since the Mission
School on the makai side of the highway is no
longer in operation;
recommends Council approve the request of the Chief Engineer and
that the proper amendment to thetraffic code be prepared by the
Corporation Counsel .
