(Thank you!) The bill names six parks on the farmers market facility schedule. I can speak from personal experience only for my local park, Hakalau Veterans, but I hope my comments apply to the others as well. Veterans is a beautiful, well maintained park, perfectlylocated to serve the local populations of Wailea Hakalau and Hakalau, and it is lightly used. As with many areas of the Big Island, many of us here grow food and like to share. Hakalau Veterans is perfect for a small gathering of neighbors to buy, sell, trade, and just get together and have fun and learn more about each other. Isn't that what parks are for?
