Dear Members:
1 am writing in support of Hawaii Island Police Chief Wayne Carvalho. [n
a complicated trial concerning cheating in the Police Department's promotion
process costing millions of dollars, it is clear that many inconsistencies arose
from the numerous witnesses testifying.
My wish is that the County of Hawaii will aggressively pursue an appeal of the
verdict to straighten out untruths and erroneous conclusions arrived at by the
jury in this case.
