comm. 482 : HAND I-LIFT PROGRAM MASS TRANSIT AGENCY
(Bill 783) From Finance Director Stanley A. Nakamae dated
September , l6 , 1981, transmitting an ordinance
bill appropriating $61,283, in Federal funds
to extend the handi-lift program of the Mass
Transit Agency, to September 30 , 1982 . The
program provides demand-response transportation
service. to handicapped persons who are unable
to utilize the Hele-on bus because of physical
or mental disabilities;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 783 on first reading.
