From Y. Kawawaki, Chairman, Hawaii County Police
Commission, dated September 16 , 1981, transmitting
Chief of Police Guy Paul' s request for a secure
area in each police district to safeguard vehicles
that are abandoned, seized or impounded and requests
Council' s assistance in obtaining these facilities.

recommends Council accept. the. Mayor' s recommendation in C-485 . 1
that the Police Department evaluate the project with its other
needs, establish the priority order and submit the project together
