From Kisuk Cheung, Chief, Engineering Division,
U. S. Department of the Army, dated January 29 ,
1982 transmitting _forreview the Draft Detailed
Project Report and Environmental Assessment for
the Paauau Stream Flood Control Study and .
requests comments by March=_1.5 ;so that they can
fully address the: concerns in the Final
Report and Environmental Assessment.

1982 , submitting comments on the subject
project and informs they concur with the
tentative selected plan (Alternate 1) , subject
to the input at the public meeting..
672. 2 : Copy of letter to Kisuk Cheung, Chief ,
Engineering Division , U. S. Army Engineer
District - Honolulu, from Planning Director
Sidney. Fuke, dated March 3, 1982 , informing
they have no objections toward proceeding with
Alternate 1 , the tentative selected plan;
recommends Council support the Corps of Engineers' tentative
selected plan (Alternate 1) of the Paauau Stream Flood Control Study.
