Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Comm. 688 : PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN PARADE
From Jan Achay, Chairman , WOYC, Creative Day
Preschool , Inc. dated February 19 , 1982 ,
requesting approval to hold a parade during
the "Week of the Young Child" celebration on
April 3 , 1982 from 9 : 00 a.m. for approximately
20-25 minutes, starting from the Kailua Police
sub-station and terminating at Mokuaikaua
Church on Alii Drive;
recommends Council approve the request of the Creative Day
Preschool, Inc. to hold a parade during the "Week of the Young
Child" on April 3 , 1982 from 9 : 00 a.m. for approximately 20-25
minutes; provided that the conditions required by the Police
Department , Fire Department, Mass Transit Agency, Hilo Hospital
and Public Works Department are complied with.
