Your Subcommittee on Beautification submits for approval, the
following report:
Comm. 683 : PROPOSED AHUMOA PARK' .AND' 'TREE' 'P.LANTING PROJECT
From Councilman William S. Kawahara dated
February 16 , 1982 submitting a copy of a letter
from Ernest Pung , State Division of Forestry &
Wildlife , regarding the proposed Ahumoa Park and
tree planting project;,
recommends Council support the. proposed Ahumoa Park and treeplanting
project and that a copy of thecommunication be transmitted to the
Department of Parks and Recreation for their information
Comm. 684 : PUBLIC SIGNING POLICIES" AND PRACTICES
From Councilman William S. Kawahara, dated
December 9, 1981, offering suggestions for upgrading
the_ County' s public signing policies and practices
684. 1 : From Chief Engineer Edward Harada, dated
January 21, 1982 , responding to C-684.
recommends the Communications be placed on file and that the. Chief Engineer
be requested to work with the- State. Highways Division, on the placement of
destination signs along the State Highways System.
