From Sue F. Okunami, Chairperson, Chigo Parade,
Hilo Hongwanji Fuj.inkai, requesting permission
to hold a parade as part of their 75th Anniversary
celebration on Sunday, August 1, 1982 from 8 : 30 a.m.
to approximately 9 :15 a.m. , on Kilauea Avenue
beginning from the Kaiko' o Mall grounds fronting
Roy' s Gourmet down to the Hilo Hongwanji Mission.
.f, c- 757 . 1: From Chief of Police Guy A. Paul dated May 5
recommending, pursuant to Chapter 6 , Article 11,
Section 8-b, Hawaii County Code, that the request
be referred to the Hilo Patrol Receiving Desk for
a parade permit;
recommends Council accept the recommendation and refer the request
to the Police Department for a parade permit.
