'Bill 743 : REGULATION GOVERNING TRAFFIC DURING PROCESSIONS ,

(Comm.. 302, Amends Article 11, Chapter 6 , (Traffic Code) , Hawaii
302 . 1) County Code, as amended, to change the title of
Section 8 and toadd a new subsection to Section 8,
relating to regulations governing traffic during
processions, parades and funerals;
(Intr. by: Miss Lai)
recommends Revised Bill 743 be amended as follows :
Page 4 , Section 1, under Section. 8, E. delete subsection 5 .
[Upon notification of approval by the Chief of Police, the applicant
shall insure that the planned closure ofthe publfc thoroughfare is
announced and publicized in a local newsape1r. "]
Further recommends that Bill 743, as amended, beP assed on second
and final reading.
