Comm. 899 : AMENDMENTS TO TRAFFIC CODE
REDUCTION OF SPEED LIMIT ON KUAKINI HIGHWAY
From Chief Eingeer Edward Harada, dated July 20 ,
1982 , requesting amendments to Chapter 6, Article
8 , Section 5 , Schedule 5 , to reduce the speed
limit on Kuakini Highway between Hualalai Road
and the Old Kona Airport from 35 mph to 25 mph;
recommends Council approve the request of the Chief Engineer and
refer to Corporation Counsel to prepare the proper amendments to
the Traffic Code.
