From Chief Engineer Edward Harada dated June 4, 1982
recommending revisions to the parking meter policy
by increasing the primary parking time limit from
one hour to two hours and doubling of the meter rates
from 2 1/2, /Dour to 5 /hour and from 5 /hour to 10 /
hour with the increased revenue being used first to
funda position to enforce the parking regulations ,
primarily in the Downtown area.

for the proposed parking meter program revisions ;
recommends Council accept the recommendation of the Chief Engineer
and refer to Corporation Counsel to prepare the proper amendment to the
