From Steven Shinchi , Transit Operations Manager, dated
March 8, 1983 , submitting for approval a proposal to
establish interior and exterior display card advertising
on the fourteen County-owned transit buses which is generate anti-
cipated to over $2,500 in additional revenues

and contribute towards achieving the 50 percent
subsidy level.
1163 . 2 : From Steven Shinchi, Transit Operations Manager, dated
May 24 , 1983, responding to the PWC' s concerns of the
proposed exterior bus display ads posing a potential
hazard to motorists and pedestrians;
recommends Council approve the proposal for exterior advertising on
County-owned transit buses.
(Note: Proposal for interior advertising approved by PWC-220 . )
