Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Rec. 11: PUBLIC FACILITIES
<pRI; It is the policy of the. Council that County facilities
are for public use and that they should be kept open
for this purpose. In this regard, the administration
is requested to submit a plan on how this policy can be
implemented, taking into consideration rescheduling of
employees'. working hours, contracting of employees by
users of the facilities, level of services being
projected to accommodate all activities after December 31 ,
1983. This plan should include all public facilities ,
e.g. , beaches, parks, golf course and other areas where
safety services, .such as lifeguards., are provided.
Further, the administration is requested to submit this
report to the Public Works Committee by July 22, 1983 .
