Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
kaL Comm. 1481: DONATION — FRIENDS OF THEPANAEWA ZOO
From PWC Chairwoman Merle K. Lai , dated February 1 ,
1984 , informing the Friends of the Zoo are proposing
to raise and donate an eight-foot high fence around
the American crocodile enclosure at the County zoo
and recommends acceptance of the donation upon its
completion under provisions of Section 13-12, Hawaii
County Charter ;
recommends , pursuant to Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter ,
acceptance of the donation from the Friends of the Zoo of a
eight-foot high fence around the American crocodile enclosure at the
County zoo.
Further recommends that the County Clerk write an appropriate letter
of thanks and appreciation on behalf of the County Council to the
donors.
