Your Committee on Public Works to which was referred:
Res. 826: ENFORCEMENT OF ANIMAL CONTROL LAWS
Requests the Chief of Police, Hawaii Island Humane
Society and the West Hawaii Humane Society to
increase the time and attention they devote to the
enforcement of laws prohibiting stray dogs and cats
and, if necessary, to consult with each other to
increase the efficiency of their efforts such that
the number of stray dogs and cats in the County of
Hawaii are eliminated or substantially decreased.
recommends Counc ' l approve and adopt Resolution 826 .
