From Corporation Counsel Stephen J. Menezes dated
January 19 , 1984 , advising that Section 3-32 (1)
(D) , Hawaii County Code 1983 , is unconstitutional
in that it impermissibly limits the display of
political signs both in terms of duration and
size for reasons , as stated, and transmits a bill
amending said section, relating to exempt signs .
621.3 : From Corporation Counsel Stephen J. Menezes ,
(Bill 1064 , dated February 14 , 1984 , transmitting revised
Draft 2) Bill No. 1064 restricting political and
ideological signs to one hundred square feet .
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill- 1064 , Draft 2 , on first
reading.
