Your Committee on Public Works, to which was referred
Resolution No. 947-84, reports as follows:
Resolution 947-84 is a follow-up to Public Works Committee
Report 300 , adopted by the Council on June 13 , 1984, which proposed
that the County of Hawaii develop the Alii Highway using the
Improvement District concept as .a basis for financing. The
resolution directs the Chief Engineer to investigate and report to
the Council, data and recommendations for the proposed highway,
pursuant to Chapter 12, Article 2, Section 12-10(a) of the Hawaii
County Code. `
Your Committee on Public Works is in accord ,•nd recommends adoption
of Resolution 947-84.
