TENNIS STADIUM
From Councilwoman Helene H. Hale, dated
April 27 , 1981, requests for consideration
in the 198.1-1982 budget, funds for the installa-
tion of an electronic timing system for Hoolulu
Swim Stadium ($11, 065) and bleachers- for the
Hoolulu Multi-Purpose Stadium ($48 ,400) ; informs
improvements atthesefacilities will boost
our tourist industry to attract regional and
national swim meets and provide more adequate
seating for the Merrie Monarch Festival and
other events that could be promoted.
recommends approval of the request. Appropriation of $48 ,500 for
bleachers for the Hoolulu Multi-Purpose Stadium is incorporated in
Amended Bill 737.
